Made with tamarind paste, palm sugar and fish sauce, this Pad Thai sauce is very easy to make and with few ingredients.
Cut up the palm sugar by scraping with knife blade.
Chop the shallot or onion finely.
Crush the garlic.
Chop the onion finely.
Add all ingredients to a pot and simmer on gentle heat for 5 minutes.
Strain and use or refrigerate.
